The 2010 World Championships for Arabian horses witnessed the unprecedented success of Marwan Al Shaqab being named the “Best Sire in the World” for the fourth year in a row. Helping him achieve that title were 3 amazing sons that claimed the Gold, Silver, and Bronze spots in the stallion competition. Michael Byatt Arabians has had the honor of managing and showing Marwan Al Shaqab for owners Al Shaqab for the last 7 years. In addition Michael Byatt was pleased to present his son Baanderos to the World Championship / Gold Medal for owners Al Khalediah Farm of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. QR Marc was the Reserve Champion and Marquis CAHR won the bronze.
It is noteworthy that Marwan is not only recognized to be a sire that appears on the scene only very rarely he is also producing daughters that are proving to be very valuable. His daughter, Abha Myra is the dam of Fadi AL Shaqab, who claimed the Reserve World Championship in the Colt division for owners Al Shaqab. Michael Byatt was honored to have been able to present Fadi to this title. Fadi is by Besson, a stallion owned by and standing at, Michael Byatt Arabians.
Congratulations to all owners, breeders, and trainers for their success at the wonderful World Championships for Arabian Horses.
